RTK stands for Real Time Kinematic, and was developed for surveying. RTK is a process for computing a correction, and is accurate at the cm-level. New Holland Rochester provides what's known as Traditional RTK, which works by having a base station in a fixed-position that communicates with a receiver on a tractor as it moves through the field. The tractor's movement through the field can then be tracked using GPS-monitoring equipment, and any correction needed as it moves through the field will be taken into action.
