Don’t Believe Ethanol Burns Cleaner?

This is a short YouTube video that demonstrates the differences between various transportation fuels and their residue following combustion. It was prepared by McHenry Illinois Farm Bureau.

Larry, Ag in the Classroom Coordinator for McHenry County Farm Bureau shows us differences in fuel emissions, first looking at a 90% gasoline / 10% ethanol, then E85 – 15% gasoline / 85% ethanol, then 2 cycle fuel – a gasoline/oil mixture, lastly kerosene, which is used for some airplanes. After viewing the burning of just one chemistry stick, you can see that ethanol burns much cleaner than gas.

When you hear the ANTI-ethanol lobby talking about the environmental impact of ethanol….refer them to this video!

New Holland T8 Tier 4 Tractor Turning

The T8 tractor from New Holland offers the longest wheelbase in the industry for a high-horsepower tractor. The iconic Super Steer front axle that revolutionized tractor design is not used on the new T8 Tier IV tractors. A new ‘Saddle Suspension’ front axle and long wheelbase provide unmatched power-to-ground performance along with unexcelled ride. While the Saddle Suspension axle provides more vertical movement than any other such front axle, it also allows the tractor to have a tighter turning diameter than the T8000 tractors with Super Steer non-suspended front axles as well as competitive tractors such as the Deere 8R series of tractors. This raw video shows clearly how the tractor turning diameters compare. For more information on T8 features, such as the Suspended Cab option, contact us at the dealership.
